East Coast, Martha's Vineyard, real weddings

Molly and Mark East Chop Beach Club

While I love living on the West Coast, I miss Martha’s Vineyard a ton. When my middle school friend who moved to the Vineyard, Molly, told me she was engaged, I knew I had to help her plan her wedding. While sitting in a Starbucks parking lot in San Diego, I asked her if I could help and she immediately replied, “Obviously!. Working with one of my closest friends and opening my Martha’s Vineyard business, what could be better?!

I have known Molly since we were in middle school. We were cheerleaders, track partners and trouble makers. Almost every weekend Molly would come to the Vineyard and we would hang out on Circuit Ave or at my families home down the street. One weekend during our sophomore year of high school we were hanging out with our friends and she met Mark. They instantly fell in love and the rest is history.

Their love always amazed me! They would both spend every weekend s traveling to and from the Vineyard to see one another. After Molly graduated college in 2013, she ended up moving to the island full time. Their love is truly one of a kind,  I mean who actually marries their high school sweetheart?!

Fast forward to September 7th, 2019, Molly and Mark got married at the Each Chop Beach Club. If you don’t remember, this was the weekend of Dorian… that lovely hurricane that kept everyone up worrying if their wedding was actually going to happen.

Luckily, the storm cleared JUST in time and we were working with some of my vendors, Morrice from Seaside Rentals and Little Rock Catering, that helped this wedding go so smoothly. Additionally, Molly had won an Instagram giveaway from Carrie, our photographer. She captured the day perfectly and we loved working with her!

Working with one of my closet friends in one of my favorite places on Earth was incredible!
